Blog 03: Rough Draft 2        Derek McGannon Heagney 1112-03 2/24/2022 Reminder My topic was what math is most important for the every day person to have a basic understanding of. I love math and physics and I have been finding the project very fun. I've learned a lot as I have gained perspective from experts and I understand where the average person is coming from in their opinions. Fine tuning the audio has been interesting. Professor Heagney likes to keep the audio between 12 and 6 so that has been my goal to keep the audio at a stable volume throughout the whole work. One of the tasks I had to do this blog was remove pops that I had to identify visually as a long vertical bar (Sengstack, 2013). The biggest task was editing the music to not start the next verse and continue the instrumental. I felt like a music producer as I had to recreate the music and fade it out. https://soundcloud.com/derek-mcgannon/blog3-mixdown

The second expert is Dr. Karen O'Hara, a mathematics professor at High Point University. After learning math through 21 years of schooling she has taught various levels and genres of mathematics for more than 20 years.  Editing Editing audio was very educational in this blog. I had to clean up some of the interviews by removing noise. Rat...
